Description: This is a genuine antique book, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc., or simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations. There is no date printed inside, but according to the Lucile Project website, The Rodgers Company operated from approximately 1894-1899. The previous owner's inscription is dated 1895, which is consistent with that information. No tears or odors. All photos depict the actual book listed; please examine them carefully.
