Description: Up for your consideration is a set of four Franciscan Apple Bread Plates that measures 6 1/8" in diameter. All four plates are in mint condition without any chips, cracks, or crazing. They really look like they have never been used! All four bread plates are marked with the Flying F Made in England backstamp and date from 1985-2003. The Apple pattern was the first embossed hand-painted pattern made by the Franciscan company. The pattern was introduced on January 1, 1940 and is characterized by its bright red fruit, brown branches, and glossy green leaves. These bread plates will make a wonderful addition to your Franciscan Apple collection.
