Description: For sale is a vintage classical vinyl record from the estate of a local collector who amassed 2000+ vintage albums, most in remarkably good, barely used condition. This is Shostakovitch's Symphony No. % Op. 47 with Ernest Borsansky conducting the Symphony Orchestra of Radio Berlin. This is the Urania Records URLP 7098 release. I have not made any attempt to clean the album; which means that I don't clean the vinyl just before taking the picture in order to "improve" the appearance of gloss. I leave all cleaning to the preference of the buyer. I use the Goldmine visual grading checklist. This has not been tested on a player, so I am rating it on visual standards. That said, album grading is subjective, so I encourage additional questions. Below is my rating for the album and components:Vinyl Album: VG+ (good shine, a couple of light scratches, otherwise no other defects)Album Cover: VG+ (good shine, no ring wear, taped edges, name taped to front cover)Inner sleeve: NM (paper) Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on.
