Description: CLASSIC 1960s PORTABLE RECORD PLAYER WAS VERY POPULAR IN FRANCE. CURRENTLY POWERS UP AND LIGHTS UP, SPEAKER CRACKLES, FAN ACTION QUIETLY AUDIBLE, TURNTABLE DOESN’T ACTIVATE. OBVIOUSLY NEEDS SOME TLC. The Teppaz Company was founded in 1931 by Marcel Teppaz in Lyon, France. It rose to its peak production with its Oscar model, an affordable portable record player that was immensely popular with teenagers. The Oscar model was one of Teppaz's big sellers, 2-tone barrel blue suitcase with cream mottled top/bottom. Its manufacture dates back to 1962! For the technical part, its tube amplifier equipped with a UCL82 delivers a power of 3 watts of excellent musical quality. Its platform mat is still very flexible without being damaged. It is supplied with original instructions as per photos. Note other photos from 60s are just for the vibe.
