Make sure you apply release agent before you pour any type of resin, this could be aerosol release agent or petroleum jelly (Vaseline). This way you ensure the smooth release of the lure and the longevity of your mold. The wire inserts included in the kit are already loaded with the right amount of lead to produce the perfectly balanced floating lure.
