Description: THE TENTH MAN Curtain Time one-fold Herald (Advertising Flyer), for the Fireside Theatre Book Club July selection 1960. The Paddy Chayefsky play opened in NYC at the Booth Theatre on 11/05/59 and ran for 623 performances. The cast includes Jacob Ben-Ami, Risa Schwartz, Donald Herron and Arnold Marle and directed by Tyrone Guthrie. The front and back feature production photos, title and playwright, author bio and background on the play. The inside contains a synopsis, production photos, bits of dialogue and critics' quotes. Fireside Theatre was a book club for theatrical scripts in Garden City, NY. It began in 1950 and changed to Stage and Screen Book Club in 1996 until closing in 07/2019. The herald measures 5 x 7.25 inches. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
