Description: 1940's Vintage Saddle Shoes The Varsity by Winthrop Size 7 is my guess, but I'm not sure.The shoes measure from the back heel to the top of the toe bottom sole 11" inches. Shoes are in very good condition. Worn from average use. The bottom tread has some worn wear. Light scrapes in areas on the outer shell in a few areas. insoles are still very nice. Gold logo lettering to very legible on the back inner heel. Original laces are very nice. XIII black marker pen writing on the bottom. Very clean shoes. Back heel 1/2" inch rise. Classic 1940 American U.S.A. made Winthrop quality style and design. High bidder pays for shipping cost. "Comes from a smoke free home."
