Description: These three vintage hand-made coil baskets were acquired from a collector, who thought they were Native American. However, when I took them to the American Indian shop in Fresno, CA, the owner told me they are actually African! They resemble Hausa baskets as seen on eBay, but that is just a guess. The three baskets are a nesting "set". The largest basket is 15" in diameter and the smallest is 14" in diameter. They all are 2" deep. Each basket has a subtle color design in the weaving. They are made of natural materials. They are in excellent condition, with no tears or stains and appear to be unused. Please see pics! Thanks for looking!
