Description: This is a superb and ethereal Unusual Vintage Modern Biomorphic Abstract Oil Painting on Masonite, depicting a nebulous lyrical abstraction of tendril and bone-like Xenomorph inspired biomorphic shapes, rendered with stark three-dimensional contrast. This is a large piece, at approximately 25 1/4 x 61 7/8 inches (including frame.) Actual artwork is approximately 23 1/4 x 59 7/8 inches. This painting is signed in the lower right corner: "E.A. Kraft." I could not find any information about this artist, but perhaps you know more about them or their work? I am definitely picking up on some H.R. Giger (1940 - 2014) inspiration with this painting. Good overall condition for over half a century of age and storage, with moderate scuffing and edge wear to the original period vintage wood frame, speckles of light soiling across the painted surface, and dustiness and dirtiness throughout (please see photos carefully.) Due to the very large size of this piece, S&H costs will be unavoidably high. However, Free Local Pickup from Los Angeles County, California is also an option. This amazing artwork would be the centerpiece of any tasteful modernist home. Acquired from an old collection in Los Angeles, California. If you like what you see, I encourage you to make an Offer.
