Description: US Military canteen used condition. The metal canteen and cup are clearly stamped 1945 U.S. Foley Mfg. Co. on the cup and U.S. S.M. Co on the canteen. The cup also has the name Michael scrawled on the bottom crudely. The canvas pouch is heavily used but you can see text stamped U.S. on the front of it although quite faded and hard to make out. The back has the words water canteen cover and some numbered codes it appears to say Sept 1959 possibly 1969 near the bottom. As you can see in the photo the lettering on the pouch is quite faded from wear and hard to make out.
