Description: Offered for your bidding is a new in OPEN box, Strombecker plastic model kit of a 1963(?) Lotus/Ford (Model 29?) (Dan Gurney?) Indy car, in 1/24th scale. This extremely rare version was available through mail order only. Car could be assembled as static model, or motorized with included di-pole motor for use as tether car with included pylon, or fitted with Strombecker slot car motor and pick up. A NOS slot car motor has been added to this group for potential racing build (pick up flag not included). Never assembled, never painted. Kit is complete, with instructions and decals (orig decals age damaged, new reconstructed decals are included). Please see images. Orig brown cardboard box is included, torn open condition.
