Description: So rare to find an original matched pair of Victorian "Bride's Bracelets"They are rose gold filled mesh with a seed pearl slide that will adjust the bracelet to any size from as small as you like. They do not open all the way, but will slide open to almost 8" so they can go on and off.The slide on top is large and layered fancy shield shaped and in each slide there are 3 seed pearls. The slide is 7/8" wide and the actual mesh bracelet is 3/8" wide. There is a decorative smaller slide that holds the mesh leading to a fringed tassel at each endThe back of each slide is marked "PAT.' AUG 8 '80 PAT.' MAY 10 '81" Pair weighs 32 gramsThey are in fine antique condition. The slides work properly, patina is very good and no dents. The only thing is at the fringed ends of each bracelet, there were some tiny ball ends and most of missing. There are 6 strands of braided fringe on each bracelet, and there are only 2 of the ball ends on each (so 8 total of these tiny ball ends are missing). Otherwise excellent.
