Description: Vintage unbranded silk (about knee length) dress. I got this at a vintage textile auction probably about 20 years ago. Most dresses there were 30s, 40s, and 50s. I am guessing this is 50s just due to style and cut. There is no size marking only a label saying silk and the latest dry cleaning tag still in place. It has 13 inch side zipper and top is lined in a pink satin like fabric. (See pix) Appears well made. Due to two small braided belt loops I’m assuming there was at one time a belt. Measurements Waist about 28 (there are also darts ) Length. Is 28 inches from waist to bottom of hem Pit to pit flat 20 inches Top of back collar to waist. 15 inches Some of the pix appear that basic color is white but it is more of a light cream.
