Description: This is one beautiful and very hard to find Vintage Utica butter and molasses handled 3 blade Cigar pattern Cattle knife. The knife measures 3-1/2" in the closed position. All 3 blades have good snap when opening and closing with hard locking 90-degree half stops in the middle with nice hard snap, like a bear trap and all 3 sit in the right positions open and closed. The main blade has a long nail pull and a 1/2" swedge or false edge on the top spine, and the blade tang is stamped UTICA (in an arch) CUTLERY Co. UTICA N.Y. The blades have some scratches and age spots but are very near full and sharp and both blades and the punch are as tight as when they left the factory! The handle scales are Gorgeous Honey and Molasses (colors like in the old days) with no cracks, chips or any imperfections. The handles have brass liners and steel pins. It also has a beautiful nickel silver shiny big crest shield and nickel silver shiny front and rear bolsters with no dings, tight and right! Have a look at the photos to see how unique of a knife this really is, it has been taken good care of and came from a large collection a 60-year 3 generation collection. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I will be listing more this week so please check back often I do list daily Case, Kabar, Remington, Puma, Queen, Winchester and many more.
