Description: Vintage 1940s Gustavsberg Argenta Ceramic Green Glaze Sterling Silver Fish Vase. What a beautiful special piece this is! An elegant green rounded square vase that is from Gustavsberg's Argenta line and designed by Wilhelm Kage in the 1940's. This piece is green glazed stoneware inlaid with raised sterling silver adornments. Features a fish that is made to look like it is swimming in water with all the bubbles around it. The backside has three crowns on it, which is Sweden's emblem. I love how delicate and playful the bubble detail is surrounding the fish. I also really like the shape and style of this fish. It has an Art Deco flair to it. Most other designs from this collection feature a very different type of fish. This specific one is extremely hard to come by.
