Description: Description: This Vintage 1950's Hallmark Doll's "From the Land of Make Believe" Collector's Album has no cards in it. This is a great album and a great way to start a collection. The album holds sixteen cards. The Hallmark cards that go into this collectors book are part of a series by Vivian Trillow Smith. An immensely prolific and versatile artist who worked at Hallmark from 1924 through 1970, she was reported (by the Christian Science Monitor in 1948) to have designed an average of 250 cards per year, or about one per work day. If the estimate is accurate, that would mean a lifetime output of about 11,500 cards. Even if her later output was lower in many years, 5,000 is probably a conservative number." Measures 12-1/2" W x 10-1/4" H. Description: Corners and edges are worn. A few large creases and tears along the edges and spine. Some scuffing on both front and back cover. This would be a really fun start on a collection. Shipping: $5.00 for First class mail. Items are shipped out every Monday morning. Like what you see? Check out my eBay store!! 03/2016Nancy
