Description: Super rare 1960s Ideal Toys Pirate Ship Swim Ring pool toy! This is old stock, original in its tube, which doubled as a pump to inflate the toy! The pump is labeled as an "Inflato-Pump". It is from 1963 or earlier, as the Ideal company address does not include a zip code. The toy inside the tube is rolled up, but it is still supple, not brittle, and probably would inflate normally. I've handled collectible toys for several decades and I have neer before encountered one of these in this like new condition. the exterior of the package shows some minor staining and age related discoloration, but is still quite nice for the age. Pool safety has changed over the past 60 years, so I recommend this as a collecible toy, not as a flotation device.
