Description: This is a statement piece!!!! This hat is from the 1960’s. The base is black velvet with the entire crown covered with white feathers. I do not know what kind they are. They are stiffer so the have a very dramatic look! The label reads SEARS MILLINERY SEARS AND ROEBUCK CO.. Who knew that SEARS made such exotic hats! It also has the UNION MADE label. There is one glue spot on the right side at the base of the feathers that I have photographed. I don’t think that it takes away from the hat. Look at photos and decide for yourself.
