Description: Vintage 1981-84 Avon White Porcelain Nativity Scene 11 Figurines, Stand w/boxes. This set is very clean and elegant. Coming out of the 1970’s it was refreshing and it has remained so with the matt white porcelain finish. I am the original owner. Each year starting in 1981 Avon issued an item for the set starting with the holy family. The one image has the original boxes by year. If you missed the item that year it was very hard to replace it later—no internet shopping. I remember I was hesitant to buy the shepherds because of money and my Avon lady— that is what they were called—gave me a discount so I could complete the set. In 1988 I purchased the display stand. The set is in perfect condition and deserves to be displayed. The boxes all have their original foam inserts so it is easy to safely store the set away.
