Description: Model is a size 2 for reference This dress seems to be tailored….please note the chest size compared to the waist!! I believe this is a 1950a vintage , handmade dress just because the attention to detail and tailoring is so on point!! But….there are no tags, so it could be an 80s replica of 50s style. The top / bodice of this dress is more roomy than the bottom / skirt portion ….please measure and compare to your sizing This is a simple sheath dress….very secretary / librarian vibe There’s darting and pleating all over this dress, but done so well it isn’t noticeable till you look up close. Grey and white gingham fabric Buttons down the front Sleeves are 3/4 length V-neck is also repeated on sleeve cuffs and trimmed with a nice flat cording. Pockets on front are just for decoration….not functional!! Buttonholes are beautifully tailors as well as hidden hook and eye clasps along the button line Not lined …..gathered pleating at the back of waistline…..back folded kickpleat There are string belt loops at the sides but sadly is missing the belt :(
