Description: Vintage 1940s Alfred Meakin teacup and saucer. Features Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt with the United States and English flag with "The Champions of Democracy." In overall good vintage condition. There is some crazing on the saucer due to age and a tiny bump on the exterior base of the teacup, perhaps from the initial firing process. There are also some dark marks on the cup and saucer of unknown origin (please see photos). Approximate measurements: teacup height of 3" and a diameter of 4," including the handle. The saucer has a diameter of 5.9." CONDITION: Each vintage/antique piece tells a unique story so may show minor wear and tear due to its age and previous sentiment to its original owners.
