Description: Vintage Artisan Miniature Dollhouse OOAK Wood Box of Mementos AIDA PRAVIA Spain A strange and unusual find from the Madame Y Collection of Kanagawa, Japan! The madame is known for her eclectic taste in miniatures and she traveled to shows around the world to find all of the little treasures we are sharing with you. This is a unique, wooden box with a locking clasp and a glass window, hand painted with gold designs that opens to reveal an assortment of hand crafted miniatures and mementos including various tiny books, papers and other things. It was made by the artist Aida Pravia in Spain and is signed on the backside. THIS MINIATURE HAS TRAVELED THOUSANDS OF MILES JUST TO BE HERE...READ HISS STORY. *This fabulous miniature belonged to, Madame 'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan. For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y. Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about. Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world. When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years. Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece. We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her. She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one.
