Description: Vintage Artisan Miniature Dollhouse SIGNED Painted Red Gold Children's Theater We have just started listing from the new boxes that just arrived from the Madame Y Collection of Kanagawa, Japan! The madame is known for her eclectic taste in miniatures and she traveled to shows around the world to find all of the little treasures we are sharing with you. This is an incredibly detailed, vintage, one-of-a-kind artisan-signed wooden youth-sized puppet theater. It has been hand painted a crimson red and embellished with nature scenes, Comedy and Tragedy drama masks, flourished gold trim, and a little red curtain in the back. It is signed with the name CECE, and dated 1979. A unique and wonderful piece that would make a fabulous centerpiece in a miniature nursery, play room or street scene! THIS PIECE HAS TRAVELED THOUSANDS OF MILES JUST TO BE HERE...READ THE STORY. *This fabulous miniature piece belonged to, Madame 'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan. For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y. Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about. Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world. When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years. Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece. We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her. She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one.
