Description: Hortense is a handmade bear designed by Susan Baker for the Ohio River Bear Co. USA. Hortense is distressed mohair/ poly stuffed with plastic pellets. She is 10" tall w/ a satin and cotton bow + a bead necklace. She has black beads for eyes and her snout is a vintage embroidered cotton w/ Velvet paw pads. My daughter started collecting bears in the 1980's. In 1992 We purchased this in a bear shop in while traveling in Vermont. Pictures show all the detail and information on this bear. Not a Toy - Hortense comes with a display stand, is very clean from a smoke free home.
