Description: Vintage children’s book - Poppy The Adventures of a Fairly by Anne Perez-Guerra, illustrated by Betty Barclay, published by Rand McNally, Chicago, 1942, softcover 39 pages, 4 3/4” x 6 1/4”, 10 colour illustrations and other black and white illustrations. This book is being sold ‘as found’. I found it with no cover and the last page (that I’m guessing finished the story):that must have been attached to the back cover missing. I did look for it, but maybe it went missing some years ago. Maybe someone wants the illustrations or perhaps wants a less expensive copy that is almost complete. Condition is fair - cover missing and last page missing, some interior soiling and some red splotches on title page and last page at back, some yellowing, no creases, no tears, an impression on the text block that is visible on the edge of every page, some wear on the corners and edges.
