Description: Vintage Cast Iron GRISWOLD #8 777 Chicken Fryer w/ Lid - Small Logo - RESTORED A very nice Griswold No. 8 deep skillet model 777 often referred to as a "Chicken Fryer". This piece dates to 1939-1944 per the early tear drop-style handle and Griswold logo style. Comes with the matching, self-basting lid (1098B). Both pieces have been fully restored and seasoned multiple times. They are in very good to excellent condition and are ready to cook. SELLER NOTES: Very Good Vintage Condition - Nice overall with less than expected wear for age. Both pieces deep cleaned to bare metal and seasoned 4 times using common cast iron restoration processes. No cracks or flaws, and minimal pitting. Very slight wobble side to side which is not unusual for item type and age... no spin. Minor wobble is corrected by one credit card thin piece of plastic. See photos and use zoom.
