Description: Fiestaware Item: Vintage Gray Sugar Bowl Age: Produced from 1951-1959. The sugar bowl was offered all of the 11 Vintage Fiestaware colors and predates the gray glaze which is referred to as one of the “50’s Colors” along with Forest Green, Rose, & Chartreuse. Dimensions: 5" tall from tip of finial to base by 4" across from edge of lid to edge of lid, sugar bowl base is 3 3/4" wide across the top. Condition: Both the bowl and lid are free from damage. NO nicks, cracks, chips or repairs to note. A fine example of vintage sugar bowl. General Fiestaware Conditions: With Vintage Fiestaware there may be slight variations in glaze, sand bumps which are glazed over “specks” during production or even “glaze pops” which happen when the pottery is fired, and an air bubble reaches the surface and bursts. These are not damage but manufacturing flaws that are not uncommon with Vintage Fiestaware. Some of these may be evident upon close inspection. If any are very noticeable, they will be mentioned. I’m a long time VINTAGE Fiestaware collector and will be offering other VINTAGE Fiestaware items for sale. Don’t confuse VINTAGE with Post 86 Fiestaware which is commonly misrepresented as Vintage. ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED VINTAGE.
