Description: Vintage Ge General Electric Record Player Metal Clamshell Case Original. It has a significant amount of grime on the outer case. However, some of this may clean up, or possibly it may need repainted. It’s quite soiled. But, on the inside it has a cool, retro look and just waiting to be restored. When you plug it in and turn it on after a minute or so, you hear a light hum And random buzzing. I believe it needs a new needle. The cord appears in decent condition and functions as designed. The volume button works, but is a bit crackly. When adjusting the different speeds, the platter does move. However, it’s inconsistent and likely needs to be cleaned and restored. ***Important- notice the very last photo. After I was finished photographing, she put the plug away and noticed that there is an a hole connection. This cord will need to be replaced. At least I was able to test it.
