Description: VINTAGE GERMAN REGIMENTAL SMOKING PIPE This is a nice old long pipe with a porcelain bowl with and handcarved stag's horn and bone stem and tip.The mouthpiece is carved of horn. The stem is made up of a series of intricately carved pieces which are assembled with silverplate fittings to create a beautifully crafted long stem.At the top of the stem is a flexible fabric covered transition to the mouthpiece.Additionally there is tassel attached.The bowl is hand painted and decorated with a military theme with a military man and civilian shaking hands as comrades with an Eagle over them. Underneath them is written willy Engelmann.The backside is also decorated with the two shaking hands.Underneath that is handwriting withAndenken von meinen freund Aml Blackhaus Comp 5 Ah Inft Rgt No. 65 Coln 1870 It measures approximately 19" long overall.
