Description: These are very interesting women's watches from a bygone era. The watch head is tiny. For anyone over 45, you will probably need to put on reading glasses just to read the dial. They are not meant to be everyday time keepers, but rather special occasion dress watches. The heavy gold filled bangle arms are sprung and pivot at the body to allow the watch to be put on and taken off. Originally there was a chain that spanned between the ends of the arms to prevent it from accidentally falling off the wrist that has been lost to time. The watch will still stay on the wrist very well as long as you are not wearing it well exercising or some other dynamic activity. Like I said in the condition statement, the watch is an intermittent runner. I was real close to placing this watch in the scrap gold pile sine the arms are 1/10 10k gold filled and the body is 1/20 10k gold filled. Doing the math on the watch that weighs over 15 grams without the movement, hands and dial indicates there is about 0.5 grams of pure gold in this watch, which at todays' value is about $45. These are getting rare and I just couldn't bring myself to scrap it without seeing if there is someone out there that would appreciate this vintage beauty. I have set the starting price at $30 which is far below its gold value. This is your chance at saving this watch from being melted!
