Description: A vintage retro modernist sterling silver abstract English size 7 ring. Hallmarked as shown, over one inch top to bottom. A vintage sterling silver mid-century ring, long and shaped on the face. The ring is signed with a lion hallmark for metal content and guaranteed sterling silver, the maker hallmark is "JM" in a shield. There are additional hallmarks including the letter "E", what appears to be a crown, both in a cartouche and the numbers 2 and 4. This ring is in GOOD vintage/used/pre-owned condition, it shows some signs of previous use including some wear to the face and band however it has no major damage. Overall there is no missing metal, no dents or chips. This is not new. The face measures 28mm top to bottom at the largest/widest point (1 1/8") and the band measures 4mm in the rear. This ring fits a size 7 on our jeweler's ring mandrel and it weighs 11.4 grams on our scale.
