Not too heavy and the crystals are heavier and very high quality. The necklace does not have a closure, it merely goes around the head and sits just under the collar. There is not a tag for a maker, but in every way appears to be a designer piece. It's the perfect little jewel to wear when you want something light and pretty, the crystals has so much light refraction. It's the kind of jewel you'll want to wear everyday with your t-shirts or even to work. If it doesn't sell, I'll probably put it back in my jewelry box because it's just the right sort of thing you can wear that doesn't weigh too much but it's not cheap and it goes with almost anything, even though the crystals are very light yellow.
