Description: Here we have Vintage Ice Cream Containers from The Dome Ice Cream & St Charles Dairy Co. The two Dome containers appear to be new/unused to us. The St Charles is probably used but its so clean we cannot say for certain. The Dome Ice Cream was a popular hang out for teenagers from the 1940's up to its closing in 1984. Located at the East end of Jackson Michigan it was the place to see and be seen back in the day. I remember going and getting the Tiny Tot sundae and getting older and having the famous Raspberry Malt. The creamery was saved from demolition by the town folk and it now resides at East Jackson High School as a concession stand. The image of the old Dome is courtesy of Mlive where you can research the story of The Dome Ice Cream shop. The items we list are from a family member's estate. She collected all types of little nick nacks and other items to decorate her home and husband's office. She and her husband resided close to Michigan International Speedway so don't be surprised to see some Nascar/Automotive/Petroliana themed pieces. We will do our best to list everything properly, noting anything we see that does not show up in pictures. If we list something incorrectly or you think there is more information we should add please message us. This is not our day job so please be patient. We want everyone to enjoy these items as much as she did. Note: Our camera lighting can make items appear brighter. Items not sold within a period of time will be removed from ebay and donated to charitable resale shops or disposed of.
