Vintage Marx "Carport" Dollhouse Replacement Part Roof Support Column

Description: This is the roof support column for the Marx "Carport" dollhouse. The Carport dollhouse had three such columns supporting the overhanging porch roof of the dollhouse. The dollhouse is a very popular collectible but it is nearly impossible to find one that isn't missing one, two or all of the roof support columns. Our 3D printed replacement parts are precise replicas of the originals. They are printed in a milky-white resin so that they can be painted in any desired color. The original columns were molded in black or beige. The support columns have a little "eyelet" tab that is used to attach a small chain that runs between the support columns and is supported by decorative Horse Head posts on the porch. Our columns come with tabs on either side of the column for attaching this chain. For accuracy to maintain the original look of the dollhouse, either tab, or both, can be removed with a sharp blade such as a box cutter, Exacto knife or pairing knife. The weight of the overhanging metal porch roof is such that the plastic support columns may bow slightly. Unfortunately this was a problem with the original roof support parts as well.
