Description: .........you never know what the Gypsy Lady will bring! Vintage miniature oil painting, framed, signed. Signature is onthe lower left side and appears to be "Cox" -- the first namemight be Robert, please check out the photos. While this is alovely and skillfully done work, I do not believe it was done by "the" Robert Cox - for one thing the signatureis on the left and he always signed on the right. Anyway that is my assessment, but please judge on your own expertise.Painting dims are 4 1/2" x 3 1/2, the framed dims are roughly11 1/2" x 10". The painting seems to be on a board. Thispainting is lovely - sort of an impasto style and wonderfulcolors. The carved wood frame is beautiful. Thisis ready to hang. This may be a common thing to say, but thispainting really is much nicer in "person". Go Green, Re-use & recycle, buy Used....we do!_____________________
