Vintage hand blown Italian Art Glass lidded candy compote Stands approx. 10" tall, 5" across the opening Stunning shade of blue Has rigaree edging, a spiral stem & a decorative flower for the knob on the lid Condition Very good condition. Shows minimal signs of age & use Free of cracks & chips The glass has a few manufacturing flow marks & small inclusions. They are imposable to photograph as they are very small. Upon first glance, you may think they are chips & scratches. But when studied with a lupe, you can see that its the glass itself. Also please note that because this piece was made by hand, it is not 100% perfect. The rim on the lid varies in height as shown. With that said, it is not a perfect fit to the bottom. You will need to rotate the lid in order to find the perfect fit otherwise the lid may rock a tad when forced.
