Description: Vintage plein air oil painting by painter Paul Weindorf in good condition. Painting is on canvas with original stretcher bars measuring 20” x 24”. Frame size is 27 3/8” x 31 1/4” and has golds and browns through the frame. Frame has a couple of chips and dings in it. Painting was done in 1943 and is signed be Paul weindorf showing Malibu California. The back shows “Malibu creek” by Paul weindorf with no repairs of any kind. The painting has no paint chips of any kind but does have small faint craquelure throughout the painting. The painting style is impressionist with heavy textures. Paul Frederick weindorf (1887-1965) is a listed artist and was active in California/ Germany.
