Description: Philippe New Leather Shoulder Handbag Satchel Purse w Tags 1979 Vintage CA. This is a gorgeous vintage piece from the end of the '70s. It is by Phillippe from their New Leather Di Arno line. This was purchased at an estate sale of a handbag collector. From what I have researched, some of these bags were made in Italy and imported into California, but I don't have 100% verification of this. Other than it's original hang tag, there are no other tags in this bag. In any respects, it is a gorgeous piece in great condition, please see photos. This has a leather exterior with what I believe is a suede back flap. The interior of the handbag is made with what appears to be nylon. There is some basic age (shelf wear) to the hardware, as would be expected, but in overall great condition. Approximate measurements: 12"W x 9"H x 3"D The drop on the strap in this position is 14 and 3/4 inches but, it is adjustable as there are other notches in the leather. It looks like about four more inches. 1 lb 8 oz Note: Used condition. Please examine all of the pictures closely, as they are part of the description.
