Description: Welcome! I'm parting with several pieces in my collection and this one will be hard! Painting is an unknown medium and is not under glass. It appears to have a smoother, almost chalky consistency, it doesn't resemble oil or acrylic. Possibly water color and another medium? It depicts a summer sunset in a field and babbling brook. It's not a Picasso, but when you see it in person you'll understand why I fell in love with it. The colors are midnight blues, yellow, greens and teals. It's a great still life and more on the primitive side. Could I make something half as nice? Absolutely not! I say it could be an antique because the remnants of the framers tag remains and as you can see by the phone number, that style hasn't been around for decades.
