This Vintage Heiser - Denver Holster belonged to the father of a friend of mine who passed away in the 1980's. He was a long time big game hunter who traveled in on horseback. This was one of his revolver holsters. This particular holster was manufactured by Heiser ~ Denver. The black leather holster shows average use/wear overall and is marked to the front toe with the maker & number 407 (see photos). The thick leather remains pliable and the holster measures approximately 9 inches from top to toe and the opening to the top measures approximately 4.5 inches (see photos). I don't know what type of revolver this holster was made for but it looks like it would fit a Colt revolver with a 4.75 or 5.5 inch barrel (see photos). The edge stitching remains solid/intact and the rivet to the corner is tight (see photos). This is clean vintage Heiser holster that has been in storage for the last 40 years. It shows average use/wear, has plenty of life left and is guaranteed to be an original period piece as described.
