Description: This large, vintage fountain pen (5 1/2" long capped) is called "The Lincoln Pen" and was produced by the National Pen Company, around 1930. Made of red, mottled hard rubber, it features a "Warranted" (generic) solid 14-carat gold nib and gold-plated trim. The pen has been completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, serviced (including new ink sac), reassembled, tested, and gently polished by hand. The parts fit together smoothly and snugly. The nib is semi-flexible (see sample photo). The trim pieces are tight; the clip has very little brassing (only on ball and shoulders), while the cap band has about 25%, and the lever 0% brassing. The maker's mark is only partly legible (see photo). There is no personalization. Please examine the photos carefully and ask questions before bidding. I'll be glad to answer promptly.
