Description: Here is a neat item from the immediate post war era 1946-1949 ! A genuine vintage US made WWII type Greek contract M1 Garand bayonet with scabbard. These were made in the USA to supply the Greek government during their civil war from 1946 to 1949 against a communist insurgency. They are exact copies of the 10 inch M1 bayonets made during WW2. In very good condition overall. Has lot's of cosmoline. Scabbard is a reproduction and is in brand new condition. Will fit an M1 Garand without any issues. These bayonets are usually of better quality than those made during WW2! Bayonet itself may have a healthy dose of cosmoline from years of storage to prevent rust.
