Description: TThis wonderful "Walker's" "British Anchor Rubber Bands" four drawer shop display cabinet would have sat on a shop counter, advertising and storing their range of rubber bands. The celluloid covered advertising panel has a little staining in places but the lettering and rubber band illustrations are still clear with a good colour. The cabinet has a stained wooden body and base with four drawers to the back, these have paper labels with the different rubber band types contained in each drawer, the lettering and numbers have a fair colour although there is some fading and staining in places. All of the drawers have their original brass knobs and internal dividers. The stained wood has gained a lovely depth of colour and patina over the years, however, there are marks, scratches and scuffs that you would expect. The condition is everything that you would expect from a well used item of this age. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs. It measures 26.5 cm (10 1/4 inches) wide across the front, not including the moulding, 19 cm (7 1/2 inches) deep, not including the moulding and 19 cm (7 1/2 inches) high I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.
