I don't know if it's an antique or not as I haven't found any others like it to compare. But it's definitely old and has aquired normal age wear and tear characteristic of having been used for many years. It has been taken apart, epoxied and finished with a clear coat over the original finish to keep it as original as possible while still protecting it from temperature and humidity changes.
