Description: Up for auction is a Vintage 50's - 60's Advertising Mirror ("Your Continental Girl.") from Cayce, South Carolina (Columbia, SC Metro Area).whichmeasures 20 x Advertising Mirror for Continental Tapes (Circa 1950s): Promotional mirror advertising Continental Tapes which was a Cayce business. Continental Tapes manufactured pressure-sensitive tapes and stencils. These tapes are adhesive tapes that will stick by pressure, without the need for a solvent or heat to adhere. The company was later renamed Anchor Continental in 1962 and remained in business through 1979. At its peak it employed around 700 people. One of the company's creators, Guy Lipscomb, was also active in creating the South Carolina State Museum. Manufactured by the Mirro-Products Company in High Point, NC.
