Description: Vintage Joseph Ribkoff Designer Bombshell Little Black Cocktail Dress S Low Back. “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” Audrey Hepburn vibe. A perfect little black dress with fitted bodice, with a narrow box pleat accordion skirt. Cut with a high round neck, (boat neck), cinched waist and scoop low back. Lined top, unlined bottom (which is slightly sheer), you may or may not want to wear a slip, black bikini bottom or cycling style shorts. 2 Fabric hanging inner ribbons attached. There are 2 waist cotton belt loops which may be snipped off or add a belt of your own. This classic piece is from the archive of iconic Canadian fashion house Joseph Ribkoff in his early years. Fastening: metal zip back. Fabric: no tag. This lovely crepe fabric may be viscose or a rayon/poly blend. Label: a vintage fabric Joseph Ribkoff tag. Also attached is a union label. Age: felt to be late 1950s to 1960’s Colour: Black Condition: in very good wearable condition. - ready to wear. As with most vintage items please note this dress has been previously worn. Looks like the seam at waist zipper has been stitched to repair.
