Simple instructions for the right way to carve are included, as well as easy rules for cooking meat. ++Good Housekeeping's "Hamburger and Hot Dog Book", Novel uses for America's favorite meats, was copyrighted in 1958 by the Hearst Corporation. This 68-page books includes recipes for appetizers, soups, salads, top-o'-the-range, oven main-dishes, easy-to-broil, and cook-it-outdoors categories utilizing hamburgers and hot dogs. This book includes both black & white and color pictures of some of the recipes included. ++"Cooking Short Cuts for Busy Days" with recipes for 2 or 4 by Mary Lee Taylor. This cookbook contains recipes that feature Pet Evaporated Milk. The recipes are for entrees, veggies, desserts, and more. This 15-page book does not list a date of production or copyright but the era can be guessed through the advertisement to enjoy the three shows: Arthur Godfrey and all the little Godfreys on CBS-Radio, "And Here's the Show" on NBC-TV, and "Spotlight Playhouse" on CBS-TV.
