Description: VTG Zuni Sterling Kachina Ring Raised Inlay SZ 8 Turquoise Jet MOP Signed Pinto This is an incredible ring from some very famous Zuni lapidaries and silversmiths. A raised (cobblestone) inlay kachina figure was created using mother of pearl, gold lip mussel shell, green turquoise, jet, and tiny pieces of coral. The stones were inlaid on a black jet base, which was then set in a serrated sterling bezel.. The bezel is surrounded by graduated silver dots and hand stamp work. The ring is a size 8. The width of the shank is just a shade smaller than 1/8". The ring face is 1 3/8" by 1 1/16". It weighs 9.0 g. There are two artist handscripted hallmarks. The first is "ARP" for Augustine and Rosalie Pinto, a very famous husband and wife silversmith team from Zuni, NM. The other hallmark is "Bev.
