Description: Works of John Ruskin ~ Volumes 1 through 12 ~ HC ~ "New" Edition 1873 Twelve volumes bound in green cloth; burgundy leather spine labels with gilt lettering. Top closed page edges are gilt. No publishing date, but it has a preface to the New Edition dated 1873. Also includes Prefaces to the First, Second, and Third Editions. Hardcovers have tiny tears to top and bottom of spines; spine labels are chipped. Each volume has a bookplate inside the front cover. The books contain illustrations, some of them in colour. Volumes 1 and 4 have a crack in the gutter at the beginning of the books. Volume 4 has a speck of white paint of the front cover. Volumes 5 and 8 have moisture damage to the back covers but this does not affect the bindings. No markings or tears in the books. We package with great care and ship quickly in cardboard.
