Very productive day today, managed to get the second lamp I have wanted to make finished, the WW1 Biplane duo lamp! This was definitely a lot harder to do compared to the spitfires I did last time everything has had to be beefed up big time to handle these absolute massive 10.6 inch wingspan Biplanes. I tried to replicate the spiral effect with the 6mm brass rod rolled into a spring cut half way then bazing to center brass tube and then onto the aircraft, finished off on a nice hexagonal Oak base with a special poppy I made to go with it with the 1st and 2nd world war dates hand stamped and I added "Lest We Forget" to the bottom with the Union Jack 🇬🇧 thanks for looking
